We invite all pathologists to join our distinguished profession as members and support our goals of promoting best clinical practices in Malaysia. The College of Pathologists (CPath) is a college of Academy of Medicine (AMM), Malaysia.

As a member of the CPathh AMM, you are entitled to enjoy numerous benefits and privileges such as below:

  1. Recognition of specialty status by the award of the Academy of Medicine, Malaysia (AM) degree.

  2. Opportunity to build professional network and personal ties with other members of the College and Academy.

  3. Opportunity to contribute and shape the standards of pathology practice, training and education, and professional development.

  4. Access to Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

  5. Inclusion in our mailing list to receive regular updates and announcements on College’s newsletter, membership benefits, clinical practice guidelines and consensus, standards, CME programmes and CPD activities.

  6. Access to the Malaysian Journal of Pathology (MJPath), the official journal of the CPath. The Journal is open access, listed in Index Medicus/ PubMed, Science Citation Index Expanded, SciSearch, Scopus, the Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM).

  7. Members are given waiver for publication fee in Malaysian Journal of Pathology.

  8. Receive a hardcopy of MJPath on each publication.

  9. Discounted fees for registration in congresses, scientific meetings, workshops, courses, seminars and conferences organised by college.

  10. Access to education sponsorship from our common fund to attend local or oversea conferences.

  11. Allows members to develop and build a new skill set from being involved in any college event, such as leadership, organising skills, team building, social skills and others.

  12. Free use of College of Pathology room in the Medical Academies Building in Putrajaya.

  13. CPath AMM provides an opportunity for pathologists from all disciplines to contribute back to the community by organising an event that benefits the community or through contribution in any planned CPath AMM event.

  14. Right to propose candidates to become Council member and to nominate member to stand for Council Election.

  15. Right to propose members to become Fellows for conferment of Fellowship of AMM, Malaysia (FAMM).

  16. Entitlement to vote in Council Election and Annual General Meeting.
