Job Description for Histopathologist

1. To oversee and manage histopathology services in the Hospital and other duties related to laboratory and laboratory medicine services. 

2. To provide independent clinical laboratory and medical consultancy, analysis and reporting. 

3. To ensure the examination reports are verified and signed as soon as they are ready.

4. To be responsible for the examination results and the interpretations.

5. To review laboratory performance in external quality assurance programmes and to provide advice on the correct actions needed for non-conforming tests.
