About Us
Our Aims
Established in October 2021, the Chapter of Anatomic Pathology is governed by the Constitution of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and the By-laws of the College of Pathologists. It is an association that aims to create awareness and updates in the field of anatomic pathology through education and collaborations for anatomical pathologists and trainees from all sectors in Malaysia.

To be an association for anatomical pathologists and trainees in Malaysia.

To inspire, encourage and empower pathologists with interest in anatomical pathology to achieve their professional and personal goals.

To collaborate with similar bodies within and outside of Malaysia.

To promote and maintain the highest moral, ethical and professional standards in the practice of anatomical pathology.

To represent, express and give effect to the views and opinions of its members.

To represent the members at all relevant committees and sub-committees of the College, the Academy, the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, the universities and other government and semi-government agencies, on matters related to anatomical pathology.
Core Activities
In tandem with the Chapter’s goals, activities are focused on educational development as follows:

Promote education and training in anatomical pathology among pathologists, trainees and prospective trainees.

Promote scientific research in the science and art of anatomical pathology among pathologists, trainees and prospective trainees.

Promote publications of scientific papers in the field of anatomical pathology.

Conduct professional programs and activities pertaining to anatomical pathology.

Educate the public on the role of anatomical pathologists in wellness and illness.
